For over a decade, I worked in computer and software-driven positions, but I’m returning my focus to the arts. I have stayed active in the humanities and community through paid and volunteer work, and am eager to join organizations where my ability to adapt, create, and teach would be utilized. I recently began freelancing in event production, I’m excited for the return to physical and creative work.
My career has been varied across a wide range of roles, including Lunch/Recess Monitor for public schools, Instructor at an Art Lounge, Software Development Consultant in Finance, Technology Support Specialist at a global Telecom company, and Application Support Specialist at Wellesley. In each of these positions, I have honed my skills in communication, problem-solving, and customer service.
My education at Wellesley College, where I graduated with a major in Media Arts and Sciences concentrating in Computer Science, provided me with a strong foundation in technology and art. I combined coursework in photography, fine arts, museum sciences, art history, theatre arts, digital arts, and MIT CAVSn with the traditional Computer Science major to create my own curriculum and completed the minor in Italian Studies. My campus jobs as Faculty Computing Helpdesk Manager and Wellesley College Theatre Production Staff allowed me to gain hands-on experience and develop a broad skill set.
Apart from my professional and academic achievements, I am also involved in various activities that have helped me grow as a person, artist, and parent. As a Girl Scout Leader, I create and run lesson plans for meetings and outings. I redesigned and maintained the Arlington Family Connection Website and run large events for families with children ages 0-6. I volunteered as a spotlight operation for events at Oberon with Boston Arm Wrestling Dames and create decorations and games for events run by several organizations including our local PTO.
